Please pray for my good hs buddy, AJ, who's serving an 11 yr prison sentence (7yrs to go - white collar money fraud, if you want to know). He's recently been put in "the hole" for ratting on some fellow inmates' cell phone scam. These guys were selling other inmates phones at 5k/ pop (cells are illegal in Fed penitentiaries), and AJ purchased one but eventually reported his contraband to the warden, thinking the pushers would be punished & himself let off. Didn't work out that way, and now he's got 3-5mo in the hole & possibly time added to his sentence.
Pls pray that the Lord would enable AJ to seek him during these lonely months, and that AJ would hear God's affirming voice. His current faith practice draws upon some misconceptions we absorbed as Catholic kids, along with a rough family upbringing. The Lord needs to break down some inner walls for AJ (as he does with us all) - pls ask the Father for a breakthrough in Jesus' name! Pls pray for the fruit of the Spirit for him.Nedry
